Cleaning Process
During the cleaning process, your ducts will be placed under negative pressure. The negative pressure acts as giant vacuum to remove any particulate material out of your ducts. The registers will be sealed to prevent the particulate material from circulating in your house. Our vacuum collection equipment will operate continuously during cleaning. The vacuum will be used with agitation tools and other equipment to properly collect debris and to prevent cross-contamination of particulate from your ducts. In order to access your ducts, a service opening may be needed to complete the cleaning process. Service opening construction materials will be in compliance with industry standards and local codes, using acceptable materials. All tapes during the cleaning process will meet the requirements of UL 181A. We will remove all registers, grilles, and diffusers if possible, properly clean, and restore to their previous position. We will completely close the service opening using proper materials.
Cleanliness Verification
Immediately after your ducts have been cleaned, we will verify to make sure that the components of your furnace ducts and heating ducts are visibly clean. If your air ducts are free of non-adhered substances, then no further cleanliness verification is necessary. We will provide you with post-project documentation that details the work completed including a written description of our services and visual records (e.g. before and after pictures).
